PANAM eSIM

Travel AI Rescue Terms of Use

These terms set out the conditions for using "Travel AI Rescue", provided by Jag Project, LLC (PANAM TravelSIM division; the "Company"). Effective date: August 6, 2026 / Last revised: August 6, 2026.

1. How these terms apply

When you use Travel AI Rescue, these terms and the PANAM eSIM Terms of Service both apply. Where the two differ, these terms prevail for Travel AI Rescue. Matters not covered here are governed by the eSIM Terms of Service and the information shown on each screen.

2. The service

  1. Travel AI Rescue is an AI service that, before, during or after overseas travel, uses the information you enter to help you with the following:
    • Organizing your situation and first steps
    • Local-language cards and translation
    • Drafting text to convey to the police, airlines, insurers, card companies and similar parties
    • Pointing you to official contact points, emergency numbers and public information for your destination
    • Guidance on eSIM setup and connectivity problems
    • Displaying information you saved before your trip
    • Reading generated text aloud (text-to-speech playback)
    • Other related features the Company may separately provide
  2. Travel AI Rescue provides automated AI support. It does not act on your behalf with, or substitute for, the police, fire, ambulance, medical institutions, embassies, consulates, insurers, airlines, card companies, lawyers or other professional bodies. It is not a human-staffed service.
  3. The AI's answers and generated content are reference information and drafts to help you organize your situation and contact the appropriate parties. They are not official certificates, medical certificates, crime reports, insurance assessments, legal opinions or entry permits.
  4. The Company shows the available countries and regions, languages, features and supported devices on this site or on the purchase screen.

3. In an emergency, contact emergency services first

  1. If there is a danger to the life or body of you or a third party, contact the local police, fire, ambulance or medical services before using Travel AI Rescue.
  2. In situations such as the following, contact emergency services without waiting for an AI answer:
    • Loss of consciousness, difficulty breathing or heavy bleeding
    • An ongoing fire, violence, confinement or abduction
    • An imminent risk of self-harm or harm to others
    • A serious accident, disaster or crime in progress
    • Any situation you judge to be an emergency
  3. Travel AI Rescue does not receive emergency calls. It is not a 24-hour human monitoring or response service.
  4. Travel AI Rescue does not report or transmit to the police, ambulance, medical institutions, embassies or others without your confirmation and action. It does not send anything automatically to external bodies.

4. Eligibility

  1. You may use the service for yourself, or on behalf of a travel companion or family member from whom you have properly received a request, within that scope.
  2. Anyone under 16 should use the service with the consent and supervision of a guardian.
  3. When you enter a third party's information, obtain the authority to provide it to the Company, or that person's consent. Where consent is hard to obtain, such as in an emergency, enter only the information necessary to protect life, body or property.
  4. Please keep your registration and trip information as accurate and up to date as reasonably possible.

5. Account and usage rights

  1. Using Travel AI Rescue requires an account, order and usage right designated by the Company.
  2. A usage right is tied to the trip, period, number of uses, device and account shown on the purchase screen.
  3. Do not transfer, lend or resell your account, authentication codes or usage rights to a third party, except where the Company has expressly permitted use such as family use.
  4. Keep your authentication information secure. If you notice any unauthorized use, contact the Company promptly.
  5. The start and end dates of the usage period are fixed at purchase and shown before purchase and on the final purchase screen. We do not use displays that leave the period unclear.

6. Fees, number of uses and the SOS emergency allowance

  1. Fees, tax-included prices, the number of uses, pre-trip features, top-up purchases and the emergency allowance are shown before purchase and on the final purchase screen.
  2. The number of uses is set per plan (Basic and Premium). Each plan's count and conditions are shown before purchase. As a rule, one AI answer counts as one use. Where a feature is counted differently, that is shown before purchase.
  3. If processing fails and no valid answer can be returned to you, as a rule no use is consumed. Where a result cannot be confirmed after sending to the upstream AI provider, the handling is shown in your usage history so that a use is not consumed twice.
  4. Viewing information the Company marks as "no use consumed" — such as police, ambulance or consular contacts, basic eSIM steps, or saved emergency cards — does not consume an AI use.
  5. The SOS emergency allowance can be used up to 20 times within 24 hours and up to 2 times per trip. To prevent abuse, use may be limited within a reasonable scope. The conditions for granting the allowance and its validity period are shown before purchase and on the usage screen.
  6. When you have used up your allotted uses, you can make a top-up purchase (15 replies for the price shown, tax included). The amount and number of uses for a top-up are shown before payment and charged only after you confirm and complete the purchase.

7. Operating environment and offline limits

  1. New AI answers, photo processing, the latest official information, maps, calling and external sites require a network connection.
  2. The features usable offline are limited to information you saved to your device in advance. Check the saved date and time, the update date and any expiry.
  3. Depending on the regulations of a country or region and the state of the network, device, OS, browser, AI provider and external services, all or part of the service may be unavailable.
  4. For countries or regions where the conditions for providing the AI service change readily, the Company shows the limits before purchase and on the usage screen.
  5. Please update your device, OS and browser as needed and use safety measures such as a screen lock.

8. The AI's answers

  1. The AI's answers vary with what you enter, your destination, the point in time, external information and the state of the AI provider. The same question may not produce the same answer.
  2. The Company prioritizes official information from public bodies, overseas missions, airlines and the like, and endeavors to show the source and confirmation date for information that changes readily.
  3. The AI does not make final determinations on the following:
    • Diagnoses, treatment or medication
    • Legal liability, rights or obligations
    • Whether entry, exit, visa or customs clearance is permitted
    • Insurance coverage, benefits, compensation or refunds
    • Whether a crime report or application is accepted
    • Official prices, availability, operation status or other confirmed information
    • Professional judgments affecting life, body or property
  4. Before using an answer or generated content, check names, dates and times, places, amounts, numbers, translations and the like.
  5. Follow the instructions of the recipient, destination or official contact point.
  6. If you notice an incorrect, dangerous or inappropriate answer, you can report it from the answer screen or the contact form.

9. Medical, legal, insurance and immigration matters

  1. Travel AI Rescue does not perform medical acts, diagnosis, prescription, legal advice, insurance assessment or immigration screening.
  2. Health-related features help you organize your symptoms and their course, produce words to convey to a medical professional, and look for medical institutions or insurance contacts.
  3. Features relating to law, police, insurance and immigration show general first steps, items to check, official contact points and drafts for explanation.
  4. For important decisions, confirm with a doctor, pharmacist, lawyer, insurer, police, overseas mission, immigration authority or other appropriate body.

10. Handling of photos and documents

  1. Enter or attach only the information needed for your inquiry. Voice input via microphone is not accepted (we provide only text-to-speech playback of generated text).
  2. Do not enter or attach the following:
    • Credit-card PINs
    • Security codes
    • One-time passwords
    • Login passwords
    • Private keys or API keys
    • Information obtained in breach of law or contract
    • Third-party information not needed for your inquiry
  3. When attaching a passport, card, booking screen, medical information or the like, hide any numbers, faces, addresses and other details not needed for the inquiry.
  4. Send only photos and documents you created, obtained lawfully or are authorized to use.
  5. For safety or privacy reasons, the Company may stop reading or storing items such as passports, payment information or boarding codes. Attachable images are limited to JPEG or PNG.

11. Generated content

  1. You may use generated content for your own personal travel, inquiry or application preparation.
  2. Generated content is a draft. The Company does not warrant that a recipient will accept it, that it does not infringe third-party rights, or that it is content unique to you alone.
  3. Do not misrepresent generated content as an official document, medical certificate, official certification, or a document prepared by a lawyer or doctor.
  4. You can receive generated content on screen, in print, or by email to yourself. The Company does not automatically send generated content to external bodies. When you send generated content externally, check the recipient and content and send it at your own responsibility.

12. Your data

  1. Personal data and user data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Subprocessors are listed in our subprocessor list.
  2. Before handling AI-inquiry, health, accident or crime-victim information, we show the destination, purpose and retention period on screen and request any required consent.
  3. AI processing is entrusted to the AI provider OpenAI, L.L.C. The Company sends data with a setting that it is not used to train or retrain general-purpose AI models (a no-history / no-storage setting). OpenAI may retain sent data for up to about 30 days to monitor for abuse. Processing takes place in the United States. The Company does not use your AI inquiries, photos or generated content for advertising.
  4. "Safety registration" and "My Trip" are stored on your device by default. They are not sent to the Company's servers unless you take an action such as attaching them to an AI inquiry, enabling cloud storage, or sharing with support.
  5. Retention guidelines are as follows. Details and exceptions are in the Privacy Policy:
    • Photos and attachments sent to the AI: deleted after processing, and erased within at most 24 hours.
    • AI inquiries, generated content and trip information stored on the Company's servers: 30 days after the trip ends.
    • eSIM status information: 30 days / connectivity diagnostics logs: 180 days.
    • Order and payment records required by law: for the period required.
  6. You may request deletion of your conversations, saved information and account. Records that must be retained by law are kept only for the required period.

13. Sharing with support

  1. Support staff normally do not view the body of your AI inquiries.
  2. When you request support, we show the order, diagnostics, conversation or attachments to be shared and obtain your confirmation.
  3. Where there is a safety issue, abuse, a fault or a legal requirement, authorized staff may review as necessary within the required scope.
  4. Staff viewing and administrative actions are logged.

14. Prohibited conduct

You must not do any of the following:

  1. Use that breaches law, public order and morals, or these terms
  2. Impersonating another person
  3. Reselling, lending or improperly sharing usage rights or authentication information
  4. Improperly obtaining refunds, emergency allowances or additional uses
  5. Circumventing the safety controls of the AI or SIM diagnostics
  6. Automated bulk access or conduct that places a load on the service
  7. Reverse engineering or exploiting vulnerabilities
  8. Sending malware, dangerous files or another person's confidential information
  9. Use for crime, fraud, violence, discrimination, harassment and the like
  10. Misrepresenting generated content as an official or professionally prepared document
  11. Infringing the rights or privacy of a third party
  12. Interfering with the operation of the service
  13. Conduct the Company reasonably determines to be inappropriate

15. External services

  1. Travel AI Rescue uses external services such as AI, cloud, payment, eSIM, authentication, maps, communications and official sites.
  2. Some features may be unavailable due to an external service's outage, specification change, terms of use, or the regulations of a country or region.
  3. Once you open an external site or app, that operator's terms and privacy policy apply to your use of it.
  4. In response to changes in external services, the Company may switch to an alternative provider, suspend a feature or change what is shown. Where the destination or processing country for personal data changes significantly, the Company will inform you and request consent as needed.

16. Cancellation and refunds

  1. Before purchase and on the final purchase screen, we show the product and plan, the tax-included price, the usage start and end dates, the AI use count and emergency allowance, top-up purchases, whether an eSIM is included, and the cancellation and refund conditions.
  2. Before the usage period starts, and where you have not used any AI, pre-trip feature or emergency allowance, you may request cancellation up to the deadline shown on the purchase screen.
  3. After the usage period starts, or after you have used a feature, no refund is made for reasons attributable to you, except where a refund is provided by law, by the information shown at purchase, or under conditions the Company separately sets.
  4. Where, for reasons attributable to the Company, the main features of Travel AI Rescue were unusable for most of the usage period, the Company will check the impact, your usage and the amount paid, and refund all or part.
  5. Refunds for the eSIM and refunds for Travel AI Rescue are handled separately. Even after an eSIM refund, you can continue to use Travel AI Rescue for the usage period shown at purchase — except where the usage right is revoked, such as through cancellation of the whole order, a confirmed chargeback, or abuse.
  6. The refund method, application deadline and required confirmations are shown in Refund & Guarantee.

17. Suspension and termination

  1. The Company may temporarily suspend all or part of the service in cases such as:
    • Maintenance, updates or faults
    • Cyberattacks or abuse
    • An outage of the AI or an external service
    • Regulations of a country or region
    • A safety concern or risk of a serious incorrect answer
    • Natural disaster, war, epidemic, communication failure and the like
    • Other cases necessary for your safety or to continue the service
  2. Where possible, the Company shows the reason for suspension, the impact and alternatives on this site or the service screen.
  3. Even when AI features are suspended, the Company endeavors, as far as possible, to keep basic eSIM setup, saved emergency cards and support information available.
  4. Where you breach these terms, engage in abuse, or your payment is reversed, the Company may suspend or terminate your usage right.

18. Changes to the service and these terms

  1. The Company may change the service or these terms as needed for legal, technical, safety, external-service or business reasons.
  2. Changes are made where they suit users' general interests, or where they are reasonable in light of the necessity, content and impact of the change and are not contrary to the purpose of the contract.
  3. We give reasonable prior notice of material changes — on this site, the service screen or by email — before they take effect.
  4. Where a change would significantly disadvantage users who have already purchased, the Company will consider transitional measures, alternative features, or cancellation and refund.

19. Warranty and liability

  1. The Company applies reasonable safety measures and quality control. However, it does not warrant that the AI's answers, external information, translations or generated content are always accurate, complete or up to date.
  2. The Company is not liable for unavailability caused by matters beyond its control — such as communications, devices, the regulations of a country or region, external services, or your own input or actions — except where the Company is at fault.
  3. Where you suffer loss for reasons attributable to the Company, the Company is liable for ordinary, direct loss to the extent permitted by law.
  4. For damages caused by the Company's slight negligence, the amount of compensation is capped at the amount you paid for Travel AI Rescue for the relevant trip, except where the law provides otherwise.
  5. The above limits do not apply in cases of the Company's intent or gross negligence, damage to life or body, or other cases where limitation is not permitted by law.
  6. This clause does not limit your rights under the Consumer Contract Act or other mandatory law.

20. Intellectual property

  1. Rights in the service, its screens, programs, text, images and trademarks belong to the Company or the rightful holders.
  2. You may save, print, modify and submit generated content to the extent needed for your own travel, inquiry or application preparation.
  3. Rights in the text, photos and documents you enter remain with you or the rightful holders. You permit the Company and its subprocessors to process them to the extent needed to provide the service.
  4. The Company does not use your inquiries or generated content for advertising, publicity or case studies without your individual consent.

21. Contact

The Company communicates with you via this site, the service screen and your registered email. You can contact the Company through our contact form.

22. Governing law and jurisdiction

  1. These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
  2. Disputes concerning the service are subject, to the extent permitted by law, to the court having jurisdiction over the Company's location as the agreed court of first instance.
  3. This clause does not unreasonably restrict your right to bring proceedings before a court permitted by law, such as one at a consumer's place of residence.
